The menstrual cycle has four phases, and you’re basically a different woman in each one of them. Depending on the phase you’re at, your physical signs, emotions, and thoughts change.

We tend to see the menstrual cycle more like a hassle, but there’s a powerful way to flow with the natural rhythms of your body. It’s possible to help your hormones work for and not against you.

This weekend is organized in 2 parts:

Day 1: Know and love your Menstrual Cycle
Sat 28.3 at 14:30-18:30

Day 2: Natural ways to love your Cycle (essential oils and yoga)
Sun 29.3 at 14:30-18:30

This workshop is open to women (regardless if they menstruate or not) and menstruators of all ages are warmly welcome. All menstrual experiences are valid and appreciated.

Workshops description:

We will explore:

  • The four phases of the menstrual cycle and the changes that you experience physically, emotionally, and mentally in each one of them.
  • How to use the gifts and powers of each phase to boost your creativity and productivity.
  • How tracking your cycle can help you deepen the connection with yourself and your body, as well as to identify things that might not be working well with your health.
  • Some self-care practices that are in line with your cycle.

Part 1: Essential oils for the cycle

In this workshop you will learn what essential oils are, how they are made and how you can use them in different parts of your cycle to support certain hormones.
Carmen will talk about the 4-phases of your cycle and how there are different hormones in each phase. Eva will explain which essential oils support your body best during each phase of the menstrual cycle.

Part 2: Sync your yoga with your cycle

The body of a woman changes during her cycle. These changes on the physical level determine what type of exercises are beneficial in each phase. That means, if we want to have a balanced and healthy cycle, our physical actives should change though-out the cycle too.

In this workshop:

  • You’ll learn what kind of practices are supportive of your cycle in each different phase
  • Which yoga poses to avoid and which to cherish
  • We will cover other types of exercises too
  • We will do a relaxing restorative practice to finish off our weekend and the entire week calmly & blissfully

Let’s learn to love our cycles with yoga as well!
